Who: Rouge and the girls! And the boys, too, why not?
What: Using the communal bath as a COMMUNITY now that everything's supposedly scrubbed down. Hopefully the Grimer won't get us!
Where: Both sides of the bath house.
When: Feb. 12th, 8pm and later.
Warnings: Naked times, though not like you can actually see any of it in text form.

Rouge was feeling a little grimy. She'd been gliding around the edge of the island trying to see if she could find a way out. Despite her excellent detective skills, she came up empty-handed. A little disgruntled and sweaty, she figured a nice bath was in order.

She entered the girls' bath with a pink towel around her chest, which covered enough of her to avoid being considered indecent. After putting her nightie and slippers in a locker, without modesty, she removed her towel and flung it to the side. She placed her bath soap along the edge of the pool and gently settled into the warm water.

"Ahh, this feels nice," she said to herself. "A good way to end a frustrating day of futility."

Late at night when she figures no one will be coming in...

Ronnae had never been very good at sharing a bath with anyone besides her siblings and yet she always seemed to find herself with company, unwanted or not, whenever she went adventuring back in Azeroth and they had to stop to refresh themselves.

Well this time she made sure to keep track of the visitors and how often they came in and tried her best to pick the time when she was sure she could have the bath to herself. Once she thought she had the best time, she went in quickly to enjoy a nice relaxing moment and hopefully get nice and clean. Though time does fly when you have so much damn hair to take care of...

Suddenly, purple everywhere

Ronnae may have been trying to get some alone time. That would not be this night. For when she walked in, there was already someone there. A half genie girl, very naked, very relaxed, soaking in the bath, hair draped out over the edge.

"Oh! Hey, Ronnae!" She said, a hand popping out of the water to wave.

So much pretty hair *o*

That... was definitely not part of the plan. Ronnae's face grew a darker color as her cheeks warmed up and she quickly averted her gaze. "S-Shantae?! Oh ah, I d-didn't know someone was here already. I... I can come back later." Said towel draped girl as it did a very bad job of hiding her figure.

Shantae shrugged in response, sitting up some. "It's all right. It's a communal bath, isn't it?" she asked. "C'mon! The water's nice and warm!"

"W-well, yes... y-yes it is..." she shifted a bit in place wondering if she should just leave now and avoid further embarrassment but eventually she opted to quickly shuffle in and sink further enough so that only her face was barely above water.

"It is nice..." she added in a small voice.

Shantae smiled. "See? Told you so!"

She reclined back against the edge of the tub and sighed happily. "Aaah... I so needed this... First time I've been able to relax since we all ended up here," she said.

"W-well there was a lot to do y'know? I mean... with all the cleaning and getting settled... I'm actually really surprised everyone's adjusting really well considering everything."

She relaxed a little too, leaning against the edge and sitting down more comfortably.

"We're a resilient bunch, aren't we?" Shantae asked with a wink. "Nothing can stop us!"

She lifted her head to look over at Ronnae. "Not used to sharing a bath like this?" She asked. "I did it all the time back home. My friend Sky and me had some great times at the bath house in Scuttle Town."

Ronnae nodded sheepishly but quickly blushed when Shantae addressed her and she sunk a little deeper.

"I, no, yeah, well... I m-mean I have! But I... w-wasn't expecting to do so here considering I... I'm still adjusting...."

"Adjusting?" Shantae asked curiously. "You've been here for a while now, what's to adjust to?"

"Don't think it's been that long... It's still much different than home and I don't know." Ronnae shrugged and offered a small smile. "Don't mind me."

"I getcha," Shantae replied. She lifted her arms to cross behind her head, sunken just enough that most of her chest was still covered by the water. "It's really different from my home too, both the academy and here. But at least I've got all the friends I made here, like you!"

Shantae that's... Don't... You're making her stare a little...

"Right, I mean I don't mean any offense I love and treasure the bonds I've made here. It's just different is all."

"I guess it's a bit bittersweet?"

She didn't even notice if she was making Ronnae uncomfortable. Not out of malice, just because in this environment it was sort of a given for her to be naked around friends.

"Yeah... I know. I do miss my family and friends," she replied, looking a bit forlorn. "But having you guys here makes it feel a bit nicer, you know?"

"It's definitely more pleasant than some other 'fish out of water' situations I've been in." She wonders if Shantae's heard of that expression before but doesn't think much on it before smiling.

"S-so... thanks... For being part of t-that pleasantness..."

She lived in a fishing town. Of COURSE she's heard that expression.

"Hey, it's no problem at all!" she replied. "What other kind of fish out of water situations have you been in?"

"Not good ones and it's probably a conversation better suited for another time." Because right now they should be relaxing right? Enjoying the moment that they were sharing.

"This placed did clean up pretty good didn't it?"

[magicdancer]

"Well, okay, your call," Shantae replied. Now she was even MORE curious, but she didn't say anything else.

"It did, yeah! Everyone really poured their effort in, and it shows," she said. "Almost can't even recognize the place afterwards," she added with a smile. "It was a real dump when we got here."

"I'm glad things did look up though. Maybe we can make this work while we're here. No point in not fixing things up when we don't know how far or long we'll be in this place." And as far as she knows, many times you can never accurately place a timeframe on how long you'll be stuck somewhere.

"That's true," she added. "Even if we're only here for a week, why live in a pig sty if you don't have to?" she asked with a broad smile.

Ronnae shrugged, "Some would have enjoyed it as such. Me... not so much. I really like the progress and how's it's turned out."

"Yeah, well they can speak for themselves," Shantae said. "I'd rather not live in a complete mess if I can help it! A bit of a mess, okay. But this wasn't just a bit of a mess."

Ronnae shook her head and smiled. "No, it wasn't just a bit. But we did good." She looked over, forgetting where they were and had to turn her gaze away again as her cheeks flushed. Shantae really is very pretty...

Shantae noticed Ronnae averting her gaze and had to laugh a bit. "It's okay," she said. "It's not like I have anything you haven't seen before, right?"

"A-ah, well n-not on you though!" she stammered as she tried to do her best to cover her embarrasment and failing at it.
