Dat bat' house, doe...

Who: Rouge and the girls! And the boys, too, why not?
What: Using the communal bath as a COMMUNITY now that everything's supposedly scrubbed down. Hopefully the Grimer won't get us!
Where: Both sides of the bath house.
When: Feb. 12th, 8pm and later.
Warnings: Naked times, though not like you can actually see any of it in text form.

Rouge was feeling a little grimy. She'd been gliding around the edge of the island trying to see if she could find a way out. Despite her excellent detective skills, she came up empty-handed. A little disgruntled and sweaty, she figured a nice bath was in order.

She entered the girls' bath with a pink towel around her chest, which covered enough of her to avoid being considered indecent. After putting her nightie and slippers in a locker, without modesty, she removed her towel and flung it to the side. She placed her bath soap along the edge of the pool and gently settled into the warm water.

"Ahh, this feels nice," she said to herself. "A good way to end a frustrating day of futility."

You know what Zero had never ever bothered with prior to becoming humanized?

Bathed.

You know what Zero very direly needed to do right now because he was covered in dirt, dust, sweat, various bodily injuries, and also his hair was getting greasy, matted and disgusting?

Yeah.

Everyone can thank Shantae for dragging him to the bath house. But he pretty much had no idea what to do now that he was here. Blankly, he stared at the half-genie for instruction.

Zero was not very good at being human. Big surprise, right? Well, it didn't take a genius to realize that he stank to high heaven. This called for drastic measures and tough love.

Which in this case involved dragging him to the baths, when she took one whiff of him and could feel her toes curling. Someone had to learn him a thing or two.

"All right, take your clothes off," she told him, grabbing some of the soaps they had found in the baths when cleaning. It wasn't the kind of hair cream or quality shampoos she had back at the academy, but it would do for now.

In his defense, the wide range of odours he could now access was such a unfamiliar thing that he just assumed what he was smelling was normal. He kind of just got used to it. Soldiers were built for withstanding subpar conditions, and all.

Without much hesitation, he dumped everything he was wearing on the ground (and really, it wasn't much - he had to make due with whatever was lying around the mansion). His feet and hands were still covered in makeshift bandages though, and various bruises and scrapes peppered his whole body.

Even if he made no sign of them bothering him, he'd still walked here on a slight limp. With a frown, Zero eyed his wrapped-up hands. "What about these?"

"That-- Geez, what happened to you?" she asked, looking at the bandages and trying to ignore Zero's... Z-Saber. "They'll get soaked in the bath, we'll have to redress them afterwards."

"Accidents," was all Zero said as he began to unwrap his bandages - first his right hand, then the left. He'd skinned both his palms, and his knuckles looked raw. There were cuts on his fingers too, but the majority of them weren't too deep.

After that was done, he unwrapped his foot too - that one hadn't done much in the way of healing, probably because he kept putting pressure on it. Zero winced, but didn't complain.

"Geez," she said, taking a look at his injuries. "What did you do, walk through broken glass?"

Well.

"All right. Hop into the water. Take it easy. Let me get my stuff ready," she said, turning to undress herself. She still more or less thought of Zero as a robot, so she wasn't too shy around him like this.
