Rene hung the last of the party decorations over the door and quickly put the ladder away. The tables were set with various edibles, the curtains were crisp and ironed, the paper decorations were festive and cute, and the year was about to change.

2017 though? What a strange number. She wondered what their calendar was based on. No matter, a celebration was always a good time.

"That was my thought exactly," Jolt chuckled, nudging her with his elbow. "So since we've got a few hours to kill before the ball drops, you pick first while I try to get my mind out of the gutter!"

"Heh. I suppose so," he answered. "I'm feeling generous tonight. We can spend the night together."

Ujarak chuckled quietly, smiling down at Mawrow. "Well, if you insist, who am I to refuse the request of a beautiful woman?" he asked, taking her free hand and kissing it before taking one of the tasty treats from the tray and popping it into his mouth. "Might I ask your name?" he asked.

Mawrow chuckled, "Ay mijo, such a gentleman."

She smiled up at him, "Me llamo Mawrow, un placer to meet you."

"The pleasure is all mine, my dear," he answered with a smile. "My name is Ujarak."

"Ujarak," She smiled. "A very unique name and it sounds exotic." Mawrow laughed a bit. "Maybe you should try being in novelas." a nother light chuckle as she placed the try on the table along with all the other dishes.

"Well, there's plenty to eat mijo so don't be shy."

"A-all of them?" she asked in a meek surprised voice as she looked around... Well, they WERE in the privacy of her own room and she'd changed plenty of times... If there had been any chance of her being seen, she would have been seen already. And she trusted Shantae soooo maybe it was okay.

"Oh... O-okay..."

And so she took off each piece of clothing slowly until her green skin was completely in the open.

"Nuh uh spark butt, y'ain't shoving this on me. Ah said you git first picks, or am I gunna hafta find someone else to wow me pre-midnight?" she grinned mischievously trying to stiffle a laugh that kept brewing.

"Oh how thoughtful, I feel completely honored!" She mock-gasped before laughing. "Eh, jokes aside company ain't always bad... Thanks for sharing the hatespace with me." She smirked.

"It would seem so," he replied with a small chuckle. "Not many Tauren around here. I've cornered the market, at least temporarily. I might enjoy that, assuming I found someone willing to write one. But I'll settle for enjoying myself and listening to some of the wonderful stories to be heard around these parts."

He smiled. "I will. Do you need to be away so soon? I've been long without company, let alone such lovely company."

"Okay, if you're gonna twist my arm like that..." he smirked, teasing her as he reached in to tickle her sides playfully. "Let's hit the dance floor and light this joint up!"

He chuckled quietly. "You're welcome," he said, half-sarcastically and half-seriously. She was the closest he could find to a kindred spirit around here, and solitude was wearing... Even he could use company now and then.

"So what does someone like you do in a place like this anyways? It's not like you're mingling." Can't be doing nothing, not someone like him. Seems like that would drive them uneasy or worse.

"Tauren, que es eso?" she asked curiously. "Can't say that I know who they are, solo pense that you were a Tauros or something similar." She chuckled.

At his comment she laughed and shook her head, "Pero si I'm not going anywhere mijo, just keeping things full and tidy para todos. Everyone will be well fed tonight." And every night if you let her.

"You know me way too well sugar," she grinned and grabbed his hand just before pretty much dragging him full speed towards the dance area.

"All right, now where in the heck-- AHA!" Shantae called out happily as she pulled her head out of Ronnae's drawers holding a matching set, black lace panties and strapless bra. She turned, beaming, seeming unfazed by Ronnae's nudity, and offered the items to her. "Here, put these on first. We need a good elegant base! Now for the dress..." The garments were placed into Ronnae's hands as Shantae bolted for the closet. "So what kind of dresses do you have, hm?" she asked.

Rene lit up at the sight of the robot. "Hello! I feel like I haven't seen you for a while. Can I have one of those?"

Rene couldn't stop herself from staring, at least at first. How long had THIS been around? And how hadn't she noticed?

"I watch, and I listen," Mewtwo explained. "I've been observing the inhabitants. Some of them seem harmless. Others are... unusual, and merit further observation."

Ujarak looked down at the girl and smiled, bowing slightly. "Good evening, miss," he greeted her politely.

"Ah, I suppose you aren't familiar with us then. That's understandable," he replied with a smile. "I'm one of many races of the land of Azeroth. My people have a strong connection to the land and nature. I, myself, am a druid."

He smiled again. "Then perhaps you would do me the honor of a dance?" he asked. "I'm a bit rusty, but I'm willing to try again."

"We've been together long enough, I ought to," Jolt laughed, rushing out to dance with her, hands on her hips as they started to sway to the music. Their first meeting was at a night club, where they danced the night away. Dancing was in her blood, and Jolt loved watching her move. It was a challenge to keep up to her, but he loved himself a challenge. Probably one of the reasons he loved her so much.

"Oh! Hi there!" Rock said, a smile beaming on his face. "Yeah, I haven't seen you around much! I want to thank you again for helping me out when I got sick!"

He lifted his hand and took some of the bead strings from around his wrist. "You're gonna have to bend down for this," he said with a laugh.

"It's not shameful. We're social creatures. We need physical contact. You take that away from us, and we lose a lot about what makes us human."

The Combine had tried to do just that in his world, set up a field that eradicated both conception itself, and indeed any drive to attempt it. Somehow shutting down one primal urge seemed to cripple the others, and it left behind a bunch of disorganized, scared and docile creatures for citizens. That's why he may not ACT on all his impulses, but he will never not acknowledge them.

"...hell, I'd kiss you again right now, but..." He nods to Shantae, happily socializing across the room. "I think I need to at least talk to her about it first."

"Good, you bettah," she laughed as she swayed to the beat, hips girating like they had a mind of their own and her tail flame made playful shadows on the dance floor.

She definitely looked like she was having fun and it wasn't rare to see others enjoy her infectious good time and join in on the dance floor. She smiled over at Jolt cheerily, this was a good time.
