[Open] Psychic Cat Thing
Who: Mewtwo, You
What: A human hating genetically engineered abomination is on the prowl!
Where: The roof of the mansion
When: Saturday night
Warnings: M for MENTOK, THE MIND TAKER
As the sun set, there was a figure in a cloak standing on the roof of the mansion, overlooking the surrounding forest and the abyss beyond. It looked vaguely human in shape. Well... Like a kangaroo crossed with a human. It seemed displeased with its current situation. How long had it been here? It was difficult to say. If it had been here for a while, it was doing an amazing job of keeping itself hidden. Would you approach?

"What if it was your conciousness that caused them to even bother trying to create you? What if it was a greater fate that prompted such pathetic beings into doing something wich sounds impossible?" her eyes narrowed. "Why belittle yourself into thinking your a product of those scum-ridden beings and not part of a better, bigger existence?"

He turned to face her finally. "I only want to be left alone," he told her. "I'm sure you have your own horrible experiences with the humans, as I'm sure all Pokemon have been wronged by them in some way. You have my sympathies. But we are not alike."

He shivered. It looked nothing like the beast of shadow, but it still raised the same sensations.
He had to get to the bottom of this. Slowly, he moved to get a better view.

"What do you want with me, human?"

Articuno flapped down and perched next to her fellow infertile, dangerously-powerful pokemon.
"Hello. It seems you have found yourself trapped here as well."
no subject
"And you as well. I don't suppose you understand why either," he spoke into her mind. There was at least some familiarity between the Kanto legends, it seemed.

Mewtwo turned to face him, eyes glowing softly. "Your kind are mere insects. A cancer upon this world. All of you."

But after a moment, Mewtwo simply lowered his hand, letting Cyrus fall to the rooftop. "I trust I've made my point clear," he said. "Don't presume to lecture me on superiority. Your kind created me to be the most powerful Pokemon the world has ever seen. Your kind succeeded. The creation has surpassed the creator. Never forget that."
no subject
"You speak as though power justifies anything," Cyrus continued, his voice dull. "That the more powerful are right and just to do what they wish. That is the thought of tyrants."
no subject
Rubble started to rise from the rooftop as Mewtwo's anger grew. "You humans... You use, abuse, and manipulate anything you can get your hands on, and then discard it when it's of no use to you. You have made all Pokemon subservient to you, treating us like tools for your pleasure. Your entire RACE are tyrants. Tell me. If I were to start probing your memories, how much cruelty would I find lurking there? You're human. I've no doubt I'd find something in no time."
no subject
He shrugged. "In order to accomplish that, we must eliminate emotion. All suffering, all strife...the world is being ruined by it. Even now, you stand before me enraged. You would destroy it all in your wrath, but you cannot hold back the tide."
There was almost a smile on Cyrus's face, thin but recognizable, as he held out a hand. "I offer of your own will for you to aid me in accomplishing my goal. Unlike your prior master I will not demand subservience, only the recognition of our common enemy."
no subject
"If you're asking me to trust you, then you ask a foolish question. But I will... consider it," he replied. "A world without strife is... appealing to me. So I'll be watching you."

Cyrus had no doubt that this beast would be impressed.
