As the sun set, there was a figure in a cloak standing on the roof of the mansion, overlooking the surrounding forest and the abyss beyond. It looked vaguely human in shape. Well... Like a kangaroo crossed with a human. It seemed displeased with its current situation. How long had it been here? It was difficult to say. If it had been here for a while, it was doing an amazing job of keeping itself hidden. Would you approach?

"I do not belittle myself," he said. "I was created to be the most powerful Pokemon in the world. That does not mean I should exist. Humans created me for a purpose. I know what that purpose is. And I reject it."

He turned to face her finally. "I only want to be left alone," he told her. "I'm sure you have your own horrible experiences with the humans, as I'm sure all Pokemon have been wronged by them in some way. You have my sympathies. But we are not alike."

"Oh how drull, for such a powerful one to be as such." she shrugged before laughing. Suit yourself Mewtwo. Loneliness is a slowly festering deathwish..." She'd know. "If you ever decide you're better than that, I'll be around."

"Very well," he replied simply. "I'm certain we will see more of each other. Be careful of the humans here. There are many, and we are few. And many of them have less than noble intentions."

"You don't need to worry about me. I know where I stand..." she looked at him, eyes flaring up in a red glow. "Do you?"

"I do," Mewtwo said. "I don't need your worry or your pity."

With a shrug and a roll of her eyes she turned her back, but not before looking over her shoulder. "Humans are the least of your worries here... And with that attitude? Well, just fair advice, make some allies." And then she went back to the shadows.
