GRATUITOUS FALL LOG
Who: Mom and Dad and YOU!
What: Raking leaves, enjoying apple cider and pumpkin pie, and other fall things!
Where: The grounds, and the kitchen
When: RIGHT NOW
Warnings: LEAVES
Time passes, seasons change, and before you know it, the entire island is covered in leaves.
A: LET'S RAKE SOME LEAVES
Man, if only there was some kind of person around, someone who could keep the grounds, perhaps, like some kind of grounds...keeping... guy. Well, your prayers are answered, because early one morning a familiar figure can be seen raking diligently. There's still plenty of work to be done, though, and he nods in the direction of extra rakes leaning against a wall.
"Don't feel like you've just gotta stand and watch."
B: AND EAT SOME FOOD
But wait! There's more than just a crisp autumn breeze in the air. The smell of pumpkin, spice, and pumpkin spice wafts from the kitchen, and the source is a kind-looking woman working away baking pies.
"Hi, there! Why don't you take a load off? I just took the first pie out of the oven!"
C: WAIT, THAT'S NOT A MOTHER 3 CHARACTER
But as nice as this slice-of-life log seems, not all is well. Deep in the woods, you may come across something terrible, something... pine-scented. And it doesn't seem happy...

The other part was the fact that he hadn't seen Mr. Flint in a long time. Not since they met walking their dogs some time ago. Another familiar face was welcome, though, and he was eager to come and say hello.
"Yes sir!" Rock said, grabbing for one of the rakes. "And um, it's good to see you again!"

The sparkle pup wandered towards the kitchen, following the scent of delicious treats, and once he arrived and saw the pretty woman standing there working on her pies, Jolt plopped himself down on the floor to watch her. The Pokemon's mouth was practically watering at the thought of sinking his teeth into these tasty pastries...

"Oh, hey!" she greeted as she came across the groundskeeper. "Need any help?"
B
"I don't think we've met," Rene said as she approached. Although an astute observer would notice that she wasn't exactly looking at the woman. "I'm Rene!"
C
...Plenty like a pine tree that was walking around. Huh.
...and started approaching. Huh.
...and started increasing in speed HUH...
Fortunately she never went anywhere without her LANCE!
Anybody in the distance may hear an explosion. Or two.

"Sorry! It's just... I think I got lost, and..." Okay, get it together, Medli. Someone is asking for help, and you're making excuses. "... never mind that! I can help, really!" Scurrying over to an extra rake, she grabs it, and despite her small stature, she has no trouble holding the instrument as she carries it back over to Flint.
And then she realizes she's missing a critical piece of information.
"So, um... what is it we're doing, exactly?"
