[Open] You should be dancing, yeah!

Who: Shantae, Anyone Else
What: Let's dance our cares away! Dance party!
Where: The Brawler common area
When: Wednesday night
Warnings: F for FUNKY MUSIC

Shantae was feeling so cooped up she couldn't stand it anymore. Not being able to go into town was killing her. She would have loved to have a beach party after discovering it and the cache of fruit there, but it was still a little cold for that. She had to do SOMETHING to blow off steam.

So if anyone came by the Brawler dorms, or followed the sound of thumping music there, they might have found the strangest sight. Shantae had been busy, shoving all the furniture to the side to make floor space. And she was dancing. She was dancing her cares away to the music player she'd managed to track down. She wanted to practice, she wanted to move, she wanted to feel the beat flowing through her like water, touching her very soul and setting it ablaze. Dancing was life to her. And she wanted to live.

Care to join in?

"Heeey, good to see you again!" Rene, despite being a Gunner, had been wandering around and heard the music. "Nice moves!"

Even though there was no school anymore, there was still something collegiate about the dorm rooms, Gordon found himself thinking at some point. The buzz of activity was always in the halls, the happy din of several bodies full of the same life and wonder and vigor as any apartment complex filled with freshmen on welcome week. Even the music was there, completing the picture to the point where it actually took him an hour to realize that it had been missing from the halls before now.

He didn't really have to wonder who was behind the change, either. He had to merely follow the music to find her. He leans against the wall next to the displaced couch, just... watching her for a while. She really was amazing in the way she moved, and now he didn't have to censor himself in thinking so. It was amazing.

"Looks like the natural order has been restored." He muses when the music dies long enough for him to be heard, giving her a warm grin.
