Shantae was feeling so cooped up she couldn't stand it anymore. Not being able to go into town was killing her. She would have loved to have a beach party after discovering it and the cache of fruit there, but it was still a little cold for that. She had to do SOMETHING to blow off steam.

So if anyone came by the Brawler dorms, or followed the sound of thumping music there, they might have found the strangest sight. Shantae had been busy, shoving all the furniture to the side to make floor space. And she was dancing. She was dancing her cares away to the music player she'd managed to track down. She wanted to practice, she wanted to move, she wanted to feel the beat flowing through her like water, touching her very soul and setting it ablaze. Dancing was life to her. And she wanted to live.

He takes her hands, lifting one yo spin her as he slips into the center of the room.

"I have no idea where you got that idea." He quips.

Shantae twirls for him, her long ponytail swaying behind her, as she takes his hands and starts to move with him. "Well, prom night was certainly an eye-opener," she reminded him with a small smirk. "You surprised me then!"

That's right. The night he revealed the dark secret of his electives in college. In most of the dance he studied, the man wouldn't be nearly as mobile as his partner, but he does keep up with her now.

"I normally wouldn't dance at those events because I was a chaperone." He elucidates, taking her hand for a few moves. "And I never went with anyone who wanted to.

Shantae beamed at him, moving with the rhythm he set. "So my new boyfriend is smart, handsome, and knows how to dance," she teased. "If we still had formal dances, I would definitely be asking you out to them!"
