Ah, the political process! The prior attempt at enforcing some sort of order had been more than a little bit of a failure, but not an entire one. It had given Cyrus notice of what to watch out for, such as voter fraud.

ESPECIALLY voter fraud. He would have to put more into inspiring people, even if another would be the leader. Unless it was Eggman.

Signs around the building had advertised the event, and encouraged people to attend and run for a leadership position themselves, so he was hoping (what an odd feeling that was) more would do so.

Cyrus stood to address the audience. "I have called you all here to have a serious discussion. We require leadership if we are to do more than simply survive, if we are to advance and thrive. We must seek out those leaders ourselves, to represent what we believe to be priorities in the coming era. If you wish to shoulder this responsibility yourself, then speak publically to all."

He looked around, noting that there was at least a larger turnout than last time he had tried this. "We will not be voting today. This is simply a platform from which to spring. Ask what you will of those speaking, in order to make your most intelligent decisions."
