There was a subtle rumbling and shaking of the earth, small enough to not cause any major concerns but if you're curious enough and want to check it out... Well it seems to have come from the gardens area. Smack dab in the middle of a newly formed hole on the ground was dark skinned gal with an orange and white hoodie - now all dirty because of the ground- and looking migthy confused. "What the hell? Que paso aqui...?"

"Thas puttin' all your gatos in one box mijo. Not everyone's the same and it's that variety in beliefs that makes the world what it is." And in her opinion a better place. Sure all aligned thoughts would probably work for ultimate safety, but where was the spice of life in that?

"And what is it? It is consumed by war, by suffering, by cruelty. Do you believe those to be simply part of that variety?"

Maybe a different tactic was needed. "What is it you believe in?"

Mawrow looked at him decisively but with warmth. She knew what he was sayign and had heard it from many a mouth of babes and family and friends who wondered about the evils of the world. But in the end?

She sighed and nodded, crossing her arms. "They are, yes... Unfortunately, just like most things in nature there's a balance que tener. Para arriba, and down again. It's a cycle and many cosas buenas have come from the bad to only improve on the good."

"I believe in life and all things living, en el balance mijo. That's all I can say about that and I understand everyone has different views."

"I see." That was a common view, but Cyrus doubted very many said so after serious thought. "Do you believe that balance exists?"

"It comes and goes, viene y va mijo." she stated with a slight not. "I don't think there can be a perfect balance, but that's what makes the universe unique as far as I'm aware."

"'Unique' is not justification, nor is it an excuse," Cyrus corrected.

But his voice softened somewhat as he continued. "...Believing in life is foolish. Clearly it exists, as surely as anything."

"If it was so foolish to believe in such things, there's wouldn't be such strength in faith. And while I might not be una person asi, I do know there's a relative power behind beliefs. Whether you agree mijo, or not. We're all different for a reason." she nodded.

Cyrus had long believed differently. Certainly he was different from others, but that had to be so. He had to be better, he had to be perfect, and as much as that had eluded him and as much as he had recognized that he had yet to achieve that aim, somebody had to lead.

His identical followers, so molded to his ideal of featureless, emotionless beings...at least in appearance.

"And what is that reason?"

"I mentioned earlier," She laughed and shook her head. "Si se nesesitara que fueramos todos igual, it would have been so." Because that certainly was the way it seemed to be as far as all celestial beings behaved as far as she knew.
