SPRING CLEANING [OPEN]

Who: ALL OF YOU NERDS
What: CLEAN ALL THE THINGS!!!
Where: ABSOLUTELY FREAKING EVERYWHERE
When: RIGHT NOW
Warnings: Chemical burns??? IDK

There was no escape in sight. As far as anyone could tell, they were all stuck here on this mysterious floating island for the time being, and they would have to make do with what they could find. You'd think they would be well off in an AWESOME MANSION, except that the mansion is... a little worse for wear. Okay, a LOT worse for wear. The place was a mess.

Flurrie would not stand for it.

A woman of her tastes and sensibilities would be all for living it up in a huge, fancy mansion, but certainly not one in this state. And so, she took some initiative. Early one morning, she found a megaphone and stood outside the front of the mansion, barking orders loudly to the other inhabitants.

"EVERYONE GET OUT HERE, PRONTO!!"

Once everybody was gathered (as gathered as they were able to at this time of day, anyway), she yelled a little less:

"All right, everyone! I think we've been lounging around long enough! This place is an absolute disaster, and I cannot abide it another minute. Today I proclaim that we're going to make this mansion spic and span! And we're not going to stop until it sparkles! Now who's with me~?"

[HERE'S HOW IT WORKS: Step 1: Pick a location. Step 2: CLEAN THAT SHIT. Step 3: Tag around and help clean the mansion YAAAY! OR, you can do none of the above and screw around the entire time! YAAAY?]

Taking a break from the kitchen, Rene was walking around looking for anything else to help with. Ooh, a swimming pool! The pool parties at Lanseal had always been an exciting time. She laughed to herself, remembering when Juliana's top had been pulled off. They were real at least, settling a rumor. Rene had been too amazed to feel self-conscious.

"Um, hey there," she greeted. "Let me give you a hand with that."

"Oh, hello!" Melia greeted her. "I think I could use some assistance, actually. I must admit, I've never cleaned a pool before and I'm not sure I'm doing it right. I do not believe we've met! My name is Melia Antiqua."

"I'm Rene Randall! I'm new, so you're only about the fifth or so person I've met." She smiled back. "I'd shake your hand but we've both been cleaning. I've never cleaned a pool either, but it looks like that's a good start. We need to be able to see the bottom in order to scrub it. But..." She thought for a second, turning towards the murky water. "I think we should drain it first. And I don't know how to do that."

"Draining it! Of course!" Melia gasped. "....Right, I don't know how to do that, either."

"Uh..." Rene looked around. "Is there some sort of a plug? I can't remember what the pool at Lanseal looked like. But I know it was drained at least once..." She pondered it for a moment. If there was a plug, the water was too gross to see it. "Maybe...some sort of suction...but where would it go if we could do that?"

"There must be another tool around here somewhere. And two heads are better than one, yes?" Melia pondered. "Why don't we check in the shed?"

She hadn't looked in the shed off to the side yet, mainly because it looked like it was about to collapse. She felt a little safer with someone else to look out.

"That sounds like a good idea." Oof that thing looked rickety. Oh well.
