There was no escape in sight. As far as anyone could tell, they were all stuck here on this mysterious floating island for the time being, and they would have to make do with what they could find. You'd think they would be well off in an AWESOME MANSION, except that the mansion is... a little worse for wear. Okay, a LOT worse for wear. The place was a mess.

Flurrie would not stand for it.

A woman of her tastes and sensibilities would be all for living it up in a huge, fancy mansion, but certainly not one in this state. And so, she took some initiative. Early one morning, she found a megaphone and stood outside the front of the mansion, barking orders loudly to the other inhabitants.

"EVERYONE GET OUT HERE, PRONTO!!"

Once everybody was gathered (as gathered as they were able to at this time of day, anyway), she yelled a little less:

"All right, everyone! I think we've been lounging around long enough! This place is an absolute disaster, and I cannot abide it another minute. Today I proclaim that we're going to make this mansion spic and span! And we're not going to stop until it sparkles! Now who's with me~?"

[HERE'S HOW IT WORKS: Step 1: Pick a location. Step 2: CLEAN THAT SHIT. Step 3: Tag around and help clean the mansion YAAAY! OR, you can do none of the above and screw around the entire time! YAAAY?]

"Huh?" Jolt asked. He didn't recognize the girl who walked in, but just as she arrived, Jolt fired off another bolt of lightning as he sneezed. "Yeah," he said as he rubbed his nose. "You got any face masks so I don't gotta keep breathing in all this dust?"

"Well..." She looked down, patting her pockets. "I have an extra kerchief that you could probably use."

"Mind if I borrow it?" he asked hopefully. "Better than nothing. Don't wanna fry someone by accident."

"Of course you can borrow it!" She handed it over. "What's your name?"

"It's Jolt," he replied, taking the handkerchief and tying it securely around his mouth. "There we go! Electric type Pokemon. I keep sneezing from this dust, and I keep zapping stuff. Don't want that to happen when another person is around!"

"Another...Pokémon, huh?" She emphasized the name. "I've met a few people that called themselves that, but I don't know what that means."

"Oh right, you're new here," Jolt said. "Pokemon are monsters with special powers! I'm an Electric type, meaning my powers are all based on electricity. In reality I don't look like this, I look like a yellow dog."

Huh. She glanced him up and down. "A dog, huh? I met a girl who can turn into a dragon. Or...a dragon who can turn into a girl, I guess..."

"My girlfriend's a dragon who can turn into a girl!" Jolt replied with a smile.

"Oh, is her name Ri--" What a time to realize that she'd forgotten the name! "Uh...Ree...hm. She can produce fire. I guess I didn't use her name all that much."

"Riwane, yeah," Jolt said. "You almost got it!"

"Oh good! I was thinking of the right girl. Uh...the right dragon?" Rene chuckled. "She's a girl dragon though, so are both right?"

"True enough," Jolt replied with a chuckle. "She's the best, isn't she?"

"She's pretty neat! We were cleaning the kitchen."

"Awesome! Maybe we'll even be able to cook up some good eats some time soon," Jolt said. "I'm starving."

"We have some stuff to do some canning, and with Riwane's help..." she paused slightly to check if she'd pronounced that correctly "we can get it done in an afternoon."

"Yeah, that'd be great!" Jolt replied. "We can actually have some food stores!"

"Yeah! It'd be more important than fresh food, I think. Though that's important too, especially since preserving requires a lot of salt. We did find a lot of salt though!"

"Well, don't be so sure about that," Jolt said. "Nothing takes the place of some nice fresh meat."

"Well yeah. Or fresh baked bread." She giggled. "I hope we can make candy eventually!"

"Or better yet... bacon."

Jolt missed bacon. A lot.

"Ohhh bacon..." Rene missed bacon too. "Though that would be a lot easier. All we'd have to do is find some pigs and then salt and cure the meat just right. I mean, finding them is the hardest part."

Although part of her suddenly had the nagging thought that the pigs here may start talking.

"I'll find them. If they're here, I will find them. And eat them."

Jolt was very serious about that.

"And I will join you," Rene added.

He offered his hand to shake. "Glad to meet someone who appreciates the finer things in life!" he laughed.
