Open log: A wild Carnival Night Zone appears!

Who: Anybody bold enough to jump through a mysterious warp ring.
What: A giant carnival zone!
Where: In a pocket dimension, nearby island, or just AU, depending on how serious you want to take it.
When: Now?
Warnings: F for FUN!

 

Without notice or explanation, a giant, spinning gold ring had appeared at the edge of the island. Through the center one could see what looked like roller coasters, carnival games, and lots of balloons, among many other things. Timing a jump through the ring was tricky, but doable.

 

A mysterious spacial distortion obscured the area beyond the carnival. Anyone hoping to escape the mansion entirely would find it was hopeless through this warp ring. However, the entertainment value probably seemed tempting to anyone growing restless with nowhere to go. Why not grab a buddy and have some fun?

"She'll be apples, mate. Barely even felt it!" Marine said through clenched teeth, subtly stretching out her hand to reestablish blood flow. He certainly had a surprisingly strong grip for a guy his age.

As the group in front of them filed into the roller cars, Marine zipped in front of her friends to ensure she went first.

"It's almost our turn!! Step up, mateys! You're gonna be boardin' the Starship Marine!" she declared as she beckoned them up to the boarding platform.

While she boasted about what amazing features her imaginary rollercoaster-spaceship included, the roar from the other cars whizzing by around the nearby track drowned out the instructions she was giving throughout her monologue. Something about not standing while the ship was in motion and ... recommending her services to friends and family?

Marine, plz. Sonic files in behind her and Tails along with Blaze.

"Thanks, Marine. There's no way we could forget all that!" He chimes in.

Tails laughed. "Yeah, we got it all, Marine," he said, sitting next to her and grabbing on to the bar as it lowered into place. "Just hold on tight!"

Blaze slid into her seat next to Sonic, and as the bar came down to hold them in place, she slid her hand over to grab on to Sonic's. She hoped she didn't need the support, but given her fear of heights, she didn't want to be too careful. She just hoped he didn't mind.

Marine bounced up and down in her seat excitedly as the car departed the loading area. Or at least she would be bouncing if there wasn't a lap bar in the way.

"WOOHOO!! RIPPER!!" she cheered. "Blaze! Look at the view!!" She pointed to the bright lights and flashing signs below them as their car ascended up to the first drop on the ride.

"Here we go!" Sonic adds encouragingly to Blaze, trying to distract her from the view that Marine is so keen on showing her and squeezing her hand. It's okay, you can cling to him in fear if you want.

"T-this is just f-fine!" Blaze said, more trying to convince herself than anything as she held on tight to Sonic's hand. She looked through half-lidded eyes. And when she realized they were about to drop, she threw her arms around Sonic and let out a loud "REOWRRRR!!" of fear as the car started to drop.

"YEEEEAAAAAAHHHH!!!" Tails shouted in excitement as the car dropped, throwing his arms into the air to really get into the spirit of things. "THIS IS AWESOME!!!"

Marine clutched the lap bar and ducked her head down, screaming her head off. This roller coaster was a lot scarier than she thought it was going to be. The G-force was far from anything she'd experienced before and quite frankly, it was making her sick.

"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHH AAAAAAAHHAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!"

Over the ramps and through the turns, with every jolt against Tails or the side of her car, she let out another guttural bellow.

"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!! AAAAAAAaaaaAAAAAAAaaaaaaaAAAAAAAAA!!!!"

When they approached the last big nosedive, Marine threw her arms around Tails and squeezed tightly.
