Open log: A wild Carnival Night Zone appears!

Who: Anybody bold enough to jump through a mysterious warp ring.
What: A giant carnival zone!
Where: In a pocket dimension, nearby island, or just AU, depending on how serious you want to take it.
When: Now?
Warnings: F for FUN!

 

Without notice or explanation, a giant, spinning gold ring had appeared at the edge of the island. Through the center one could see what looked like roller coasters, carnival games, and lots of balloons, among many other things. Timing a jump through the ring was tricky, but doable.

 

A mysterious spacial distortion obscured the area beyond the carnival. Anyone hoping to escape the mansion entirely would find it was hopeless through this warp ring. However, the entertainment value probably seemed tempting to anyone growing restless with nowhere to go. Why not grab a buddy and have some fun?

Jet shrugged, desperately trying to avoid eye-contact.

"Whatever. Just get what you want and hurry up."

When you embarrass Jet, you will feel his pouty wrath whether you like it or not. He hadn't gotten comfortable around her enough to admit these kinds of feelings. He wasn't sure why, but in their time apart, his feelings toward her changed from "begrudged" to something more akin to "longing," which he now regretted.

"Hey, the deal was you treat me," she reminded him with a smirk. "So come on and order for your lady friend," she teased, gesturing to the burger stand.

At this point, she was just saying things to egg him on. Jet glared at her as he approached the stand and spoke to the server.

"One hamburger."

He knew she was going to correct him somehow and was just waiting for it irritably at this point. He was beginning to wonder if he should just ditch her, but he had to admit to himself that he'd probably miss her again. Darn feelings.

She was admittedly having way too much fun driving Jet up the wall. You never realize how much you miss something until you don't have it, and teasing him was definitely on that list.

Hearing him order just the one burger, though, Wave quickly stepped up to correct him. But probably not the way he expected.

She put her arm over his shoulder. "Make it two, with soda and fries. We're on a date." Yeah, that'd drive him right up the wall. She couldn't wait.
