Open log: A wild Carnival Night Zone appears!

Who: Anybody bold enough to jump through a mysterious warp ring.
What: A giant carnival zone!
Where: In a pocket dimension, nearby island, or just AU, depending on how serious you want to take it.
When: Now?
Warnings: F for FUN!

 

Without notice or explanation, a giant, spinning gold ring had appeared at the edge of the island. Through the center one could see what looked like roller coasters, carnival games, and lots of balloons, among many other things. Timing a jump through the ring was tricky, but doable.

 

A mysterious spacial distortion obscured the area beyond the carnival. Anyone hoping to escape the mansion entirely would find it was hopeless through this warp ring. However, the entertainment value probably seemed tempting to anyone growing restless with nowhere to go. Why not grab a buddy and have some fun?

"So am I." He adds beathlessly. It's punctuated with another quiet growl as he takes her lips again, his free hand running up her back, just barely playing under the strap to her bandeau...

THOMPP!

They lurch forward, and Gordon clings to keep Shantae from being thrown. It takes a second for his love-soked brain to register that boat seemed to hit a dark wall, and now that dark wall splits open to reveal the riot of color that is the outside world once again.

It was the end of the ride, and the attendant (Who, he will realize later, has probably seen worse.) Stares directly at them with unimpressed eyes.

"... ... ..." That's the sound of mortification, dear readers.

...Ah. Just when it was getting good too, the boat stopped outside the tunnel. Seeing the eyes on them, Shantae silently got up from the boat, taking Gordon's hand in hers and helping him up and out as well. She gave the attendant one look that said "Yeah, I went there," before quickly turning tail and walking away at a brisk pace.

She took a deep breath, face red. "WOW. We were moving really slowly too... We must've been doing that for a while," she said, trying to take attention off of her own embarrassment.

"Well, ah, you know, time flies..."

He's breathing deep to try to calm himself down as well, in more ways than one. Then something catches his attention and he... laughs. A small chuckle, as he scrubs back his hair.

"I think Einstein said something like that once. Are... you okay? I mean, other than getting caught?"

Getting caught. Like they're a couple of teenagers. He's... kind of proud of that, in a small way.

"This Einstein guy know a bit about making out in a tunnel on a short timeframe?" She asked with a laugh. She quickly calmed herself down, crossing her arms behind her head. "Yeah, I'm okay," she told him with a smile through pink tinged cheeks. She'd never done something THAT daring before! It felt good! "A little embarrassed, but mostly disappointed we had to cut it out just when it was getting real good."

Whoa.

"...Don't worry, we'll... We'll pick up where we left off later."

Not that he didn't consider diving back through the portal with hey then and there. Believe me, he thought about it. He casts one more glance at the treacherous tunnel, and wraps an arm around her back. "For now, I think there are some rides we haven't tried yet."

Shantae didn't miss a beat. "Yeah, we'll have time later! Let's get going, I wanna try that big roller coaster over there!" she added, pointing off. Hanky panky would have to wait. time to get their blood pumping in another way.
