Open log: A wild Carnival Night Zone appears!
Who: Anybody bold enough to jump through a mysterious warp ring.
What: A giant carnival zone!
Where: In a pocket dimension, nearby island, or just AU, depending on how serious you want to take it.
When: Now?
Warnings: F for FUN!
Without notice or explanation, a giant, spinning gold ring had appeared at the edge of the island. Through the center one could see what looked like roller coasters, carnival games, and lots of balloons, among many other things. Timing a jump through the ring was tricky, but doable.
A mysterious spacial distortion obscured the area beyond the carnival. Anyone hoping to escape the mansion entirely would find it was hopeless through this warp ring. However, the entertainment value probably seemed tempting to anyone growing restless with nowhere to go. Why not grab a buddy and have some fun?

"I don't want to be in another shallow relationship. I like to think I've moved past that at this point in my life. I want this to work, but maybe we're jumping ahead faster than we're aware of right now. If we're worth pursuing, it can wait while we take enough time to really think about the future. OUR future, if there is one."
Rouge REALLY didn't want to stop doing what they were doing, but she knew how clouded her mind was by lust and felt she should mull things over in a calmer state of mind. She didn't want to regret anything. She was determined to go about a relationship the right way for once.
After she led him away from the ride, she continued:
"Not that I really want to stop. I'd love to ...go around again." Rouge stood close and rubbed his chest fondly. He smelled nice, like rawhide and perspiration. But it was a nice scent, and honestly, it was making her ache even more for his touch. Ugh, he was so sexy right then...

But then she made her last comment. "...Same here," he replied. She rubbed his chest and his heart skipped a beat. That felt nice... And she smelled so good... And looked so pretty...
"I think I need to go back to the mansion and take a very long cold shower," he admitted with a hint of defeat on his voice.

"Ohh, poor bunny. I'm sorry. But it's something to look forward to, right?"
Without hesitating, she popped the question she figured was on both their minds:
"When do you want to have our second date?"

"Oh man... As soon as possible," he told her. "I want to go out with you a LOT. Whenever you're free next, let's go for it. ...A date, I mean, not necessarily... You know what, never mind. Let's go out tomorrow."

Rouge turned and scoped out the rest of the carnival. She didn't want to end the night on that note. While going all the way was definitely on her mind, she had grown fond of being around him and didn't want to miss him just yet. She figured she'd need a cold shower that night, too.
"Walk me to the exit?" she asked, hugging his arm.
..Wait, was she really feeling this way for somebody? She was realizing how emotionally open she'd been in that ride--more open than she'd planned, and definitely more open than she expected she'd ever be. What an interesting effect he had on her. She wondered if it was a sign that they were meant to be, but quashed the notion before she could take it too seriously.

He looped his arm for her to hold as they walked off. "Hey, think this place'll be here again tomorrow? We should come back and ride some more!" he suggested.

"But really, I dunno. If it's not, I think I had a decent time while it was here. Don't you?"

"Oh yeah! I had a good time too! I mean, we got to spend all this time together and just... talk, y'know? Without having to worry about Eggman for once."

Rouge puckered her lips and poked his nose playfully.
"Except when he's fooling you into believing Sonic and Tails are public nuisances!"
She didn't mind dropping the idea about talking to Sonic if he wasn't terribly interested. She felt it'd put a weird damper on their good moods.

And she had already puckered up for it.
He leaned over and gave her another kiss, hoping that would be enough to get them onto another topic. Unfortunately, all it was doing was increasing his need for that cold shower later.
