Well, summer was approaching. The days were getting much warmer. And there was a surefire way to beat the heat just outside the mansion. Whoever lived there previously clearly enjoyed swimming, because next to the hedge maze and surrounded by a wall was a very large, very ornate pool. And after the TLC the cleaning crew had given it, it was ready to accept swimmers. There were floating mats, lounge chairs, and a small assortment of water toys for those who wanted to mess around. There was even swimwear available! Conveniently, in a locker by the pool, there was a swimsuit for everyone, just your size! That was weird, wasn't it...? 

Well, time to get some chill. Into the water!

No, really, why was he wearing a speedo and a vest?

With just the shorts alone it would have been... Not really OKAY, but tolerable. But pared with the Galactic vest he looks like the world's most uptight stripper, which was an image Lucca never wanted. Ever.

"Emm, Cyrus? Why are you wearing that shirt?"

Rosalina just couldn't peel her eyes away from the sight, and stood with Lucca as they took in the sight. Her face was beet red. "Goodness... That is... certainly something..."

Damnation and Rosalina was there too.

"Surely you have more interesting things to look at."

"Perhaps, but none as... unexpected a sight as this," she commented, raising a hand to cover her eyes and turning her head slightly.

"This was not of my choosing. It was simply the only garment that fit."

Well, that wasn't exactly true. But it was the only one that hadn't been worn before. That locker room had some truly disgusting things in it.

"Regardless, stand aside. I intend to partake of this event and would prefer to be in the water right now." He wasn't the sort to blush but if he was his entire body would have taken on a distinctly sunburnt hue.

"Ah, yes... Do enjoy," she said, managing to slowly peel her eyes away from the sight before her. WOW, that image was not going to leave her mind any time soon.

She was petty and easily distracted. Another aspect that reminded him of Cynthia.

He slunk into the water like a melting ice cube.
