Well, summer was approaching. The days were getting much warmer. And there was a surefire way to beat the heat just outside the mansion. Whoever lived there previously clearly enjoyed swimming, because next to the hedge maze and surrounded by a wall was a very large, very ornate pool. And after the TLC the cleaning crew had given it, it was ready to accept swimmers. There were floating mats, lounge chairs, and a small assortment of water toys for those who wanted to mess around. There was even swimwear available! Conveniently, in a locker by the pool, there was a swimsuit for everyone, just your size! That was weird, wasn't it...? 

Well, time to get some chill. Into the water!

Lucca loved swimming! It just wasn't the hot season without it. It was a small miracle to open the locker and find a stringy mess of swimsuit waiting patiently for her.

Sure, it was pink, but whatever.

She can be found easily all day, either in the pool or reading contentedly on a lounge chair. Just don't splash her while she's holding the book!

"Lucca! There you are!" Rock called out, running towards her as she sat on her lounge chair reading, in a pair of blue trunks and carrying a beach ball under his arm. "C'mon, let's go... dive... in..."

He trailed off as he got closer and realized, holy crap, she looked amazing in that swimsuit. He just ended up staring for the moment. Wait, what was he doing there again?

She's actually begun to pick up on this particular bluescreen reaction of his, and blushes with a smile. Her hands go to her elbows to cage herself like she does, but only for a second. She's getting better about that...

"You like the suit? I haven't worn pink since I was, like, five... Looks like the suit you got is your favorite color, though!"

You know who loves the water? Someone who really shouldn't! But she doesn't care! And lo and behold her dress code is also a very devil-may-care risque as the fiery fire-tail dons a rather skimpy bathing suit as she enjoys the fun in the sun that they so need after such a trying phase. Care to get infected with the enthusiasm and energy?! You'll find her with a frosty drink by the poolside, finishing it up before dipping herself right back in!

Of course there's always option two as under one of the big umbrellas and to the side sits a much quieter denizen of the mansion. An ex-teacher at that, the timid half-orc is observing the scene with a small smile as she sees how this lifts up the spirits of those that got twisted into this place. Sporting a thin hoodie over her one piece bathing suit, maybe she's just waiting until the pool is less crowded to enjoy a dip in herself.

Food's generally always an option for these outings! Grilling meats, veggies and fruits goes hand-in-hand with summer fun like sand does to beaches! At the grill, the jovial Marowak is cooking up a storm in her sheer and breathy summer dress as she takes requests and makes sure everyone is properly fed. You can tell she's ready to have fun at the pool too as her one piece is clearly visible through the thin fabric. Come and eat some delicious grub!

Well look at that, while Ronnae was watching, Shantae was coming up to dive in to the pool. She was wearing a blue and white striped tied bikini, and waved at her friend before diving into the refreshing water, breaking the surface and flicking back her long purple hair.

Ronnae did in fact notice Shantae, how couldn't she? A bit of color rose to her cheeks and she waved timidly before shifting a bit in her seat and taking a sip from her cool drink.

There was a new face at the mansion! And... wow, she was really pretty, wasn't she? Where did she come from? Did she just go right to lounging at the side of the pool in a pink bikini? Maybe you'd better go find out!

Wendy knew that face. She thought it was pretty darn ugly, but Daddy seemed really taken with her. ALL THE MORE REASON TO HATE HER GUTS!

She positioned herself on the edge of the pool as close to the princess as possible. With a loud "CANNONBAAAAAALL!!", she jumped into the pool curled into a ball, causing water to splash every which way--including at Peach.

"Hm? Oh my...!" Peach called out as she lowered her sunglasses just in time to get doused by Wendy's cannonball. She sputtered for a few moments, but one thing became abundantly clear, as she flicked her head and her long damp blonde hair, water drops shimmering on her skin.

She even looked glamorous wet.

"Wendy? Do be more careful," she said, standing up and reaching for a towel.

The pool had attracted Gordon as well. As Gordon yanked open the locker, sunscreen in hand, he stopped dead. A pair of orange trunks lay folded inside, along with...

He smirks, at the sight of the cache of water pistols and balloons.

Whoever is out there during the day, there's a decent chance there will be a water gun thrown your way with a "THINK FAST" as a way to level the playing field before he opens fire. Squirtgun deathmatch!

Sonic is content to goof around on the deck of the pool instead, running around, occasionally grabbing something from the food tables, playing some land-based games or catching a nap in the shade. Bother him?

Blaze was such a cat. A bright sunny day, and all she wanted to do was just bask in the sunshine. Which she did. Sunglasses on, by the side of the pool in a red one-piece that didn't exactly leave much to the imagination, much to her chagrin. But beggars couldn't be choosers... She rested on a lounge chair. She had no qualms about going for a swim, but she was just so comfy...

Blaze didn't wear red much. This was a shame as far as Sonic is concerned, because she wore that red swimsuit extremely well. He screeches to a halt able whistles quietly.

For some time, Cyrus had been trying to improve his physical health, and swimming would be a good way to do that.

If only the swimwear he found in his size wasn't so...revealing. In an attempt to cover up, he wore the vest from his Galactic uniform. Not that it made a difference on his lower half, but as long as he could stay in the water...

With just the shorts alone it would have been... Not really OKAY, but tolerable. But pared with the Galactic vest he looks like the world's most uptight stripper, which was an image Lucca never wanted. Ever.

Fun fact about Wave: She actually did like the water a lot. Heck, if they were on a beach with waves, she might have even wanted to go surfing. But them's the breaks. She rode an inner tube in the pool, relaxing back with her sunglasses covering her eyes, and a white string bikini providing decency.

Oh boy! Rene thought back to the great time Class G had had in the Lanseal pool.

And the time Juliana's swimsuit top came off. Rene often felt she wanted a larger bust, but that would just be uncomfortable.

"CANNONBAAAAAAAAAL!!!!!" she shouted, getting a running start towards the deep end, eschewing the diving board to jump off the side directly.

Tails had gone over his notes he took from Sonic over and over again, formulating some sort of game plan to help him tell Marine how he felt. He still didn't know if he was psyched up enough to do this, but the opportunity couldn't be better. He lugged around a machine with him, that looked like a single person propeller for divers. A full sized boat wouldn't work in the pool, but this just might. Now where was she...

SPLOOSH! Up came a raccoon out of the water sporting a sort of rocket belt for underwater use.

Marine punched the air as she hovered over the water.

"CROIKEY!! She works like a dream!! AHAHA, I AM a ripper mechanic after al--"

Her victory brag was stopped short as one of the turbines shorted out, dunking her sideways back into the pool.

She didn't reemerge.
