Who: Cyrus
What: Galaxy Club rises again!
Where: In front of the living quarters
When: Friday
Warnings: uh...politics I guess
There had been multiple postings on the board about an assembly to take place. All were invited.
Upon arrival, there was Cyrus at a makeshift podium. Paper and a large box were in front of it on a small table.
Once enough were present, he spoke, clear and direct. "Citizens of Smash Academy. Newcomers. All of you. We have an opportunity afforded to very few in history. We in this land are able to create our own society, free from the shackles of our pasts. We will require strong leaders and intelligent followers."
This was, of course, a far cry from the intentionally stupid and foolish Galactic grunts he had once surrounded himself with. Intelligent grunts would ask too many questions. But here, people knew his former goal. He would address that too if asked.
"We will create a society that works for common goals. One that does not divide. One that progresses together, and gives all for each other. We will achieve that aim together."
He gestured to the box before him. "I have provided these ballots for fair voting on who you believe ought to lead us. This will not ensure that position to them, merely begin a common conversation about their benefits and drawbacks. Think clearly and truly, free of any threats or hindrances."
A part of him still couldn't believe that he was relying on those around him so much. He would have instituted himself as de facto leader, bringing order by any means.
"Consider your surroundings. Not only us, but the natural world, and the future of this place."
And he hoped it wouldn't be Eggman
